San Diego Book Arts will sponsor a lecture and workshop by Joan Michaels Paque on April 18, 20 & 21, 2008 in San Diego, California. The lecture titled, A Personal Perspective: An attempt at Innovation and Inventiveness will be held at the Anthenaeum Music & Arts Library on April 18. The workshop, Creative Journey, 3D Paper Arts – Books, Boxes & More, will be held at Mesa Community College on April 20-21.

June 22-28, 2008
Joan Michaels Paque will give a three-day workshop at Handweavers Guild of America (HGA) Convergence 2008 in Tampa Bay, Florida. The workshop, titled "Dimensional Weaving, Pleat Folds and Tessellations", will be held from June 22 to June 24, 2008.

Joan Michaels Paque will present the following on June 25, 26, 27 and 28.
One-day Studio – The Art Approach to Business
One-day Seminar – Weaving in Dimension
One-day Seminar – Simple & Complex Pleat Folding

In addition, Joan Michaels Paque will jury an exhibition and give a gallery talk.
